Description
Phaenom FS 02 90

The fs 02 90 is designed for intermediate all-mountain skiers and younger riders exploring freeskiing for the first time. Featuring a forgiving 90 flex and a 100 mm last, this boot balances comfort, control, and adaptability. The hybrid cabrio/overlap construction delivers efficient power transmission and shock absorption for confident performance. The reshaped lower-shell opening with a higher instep improves initial fit and responsiveness, making engagement easier on every turn. The Easy Entry System makes on/off effortless. The boot features the fs 02 a liner, engineered with PillowFoam™, a plush 3 mm PU foam layer on the liner’s interior that gently conforms to your foot for a welcoming step-in feel, optimized fit, and all-day comfort. Designed for customization, it comes with three inserts (flip chips) allowing forward-lean angles of 13°, 15°, and 17°. The Phaenom Strap enhances rebound and flex control for smooth skiing progression. Finished in a new desert sage colorway, the fs 02 90 combines approachable design with thoughtful performance features.

Shell (see detail images)
1) Upper cuff: The overlap construction of the upper cuff is shaped to wrap around the lower leg, ensuring a close fit and exceptional transmission of energy / power to the skis.
2) Shell tongue: The lower-cut tongue is designed to have three key benefits: it allows for easier entry than a traditional overlap boot; it protects the open area above the foot in a way that doesn’t collapse the toe box; and it helps absorb shock for a smooth ride in all conditions.
3) Lower shell: The lower shell is engineered to secure the foot while maximizing comfort. A mid-volume toe box keeps feet warm and relaxed through long days on the mountain, while the heel pocket isshaped to lock the heel in place, prevent unwanted movement, and transfer energy directly to the skis.
4) Interchangeable spoilers: Our spoilers are customizable to ensure ergonomic and precise calf hold as well as the preferred forward lean.
5) Phaenom strap: The phaenom strap provides rebound, shock absorption and exceptional flex control from a single recyclable material.
6) Adjustable forward lean: The boots come with three different inserts—called flip chips—that allow forward lean angles of 13°, 15° and 17°. The factory setting is 15°. The flip chips may be swapped manually with ease.

Liner (see detail images)
1) Tongue Leash: The tongue leash provides a secure shell-to-liner connection for quick, one-handed handling.
2) Calf stabilizer: The TPU plastic placed meticulously around the calf and shin area redistributes pressure to eliminate “hot spots.” The added support also helps to get a better feel for the snow.
3) PU outsole: The PU outsole is designed for efficiency and simplicity. Experience an easy step-in experience and all-day comfort.
