Versa is the world’s first pocket camera that flies. Capture smooth handheld footage, then attach the Flight Kit in seconds for hands-free follow, third-person, and aerial shots. With intelligent tracking and 4K image quality, Versa makes it easy to capture more of life from more perspectives, all with one camera.
Features + Benefits
- One Device, More Perspectives: Capture smooth handheld shots, then add the Flight Kit for aerial follow and third-person perspectives. All in one compact device.
- Creator-Ready Image Quality: Versa pairs a 1/1.3-inch sensor with 4K60 video, 17.5 stops of dynamic range, and 10-bit HDR. Other features include 12MP photos, Live Photos, 2× lossless zoom, and AI Low Light Enhancement. Capture balanced footage across challenging lighting conditions, with the color depth needed for grading and matching footage from other cameras.
- Handheld Mode: Capture smooth 4K handheld footage on walks, runs and off-the-beaten-path adventures with a pocket-sized 3-axis gimbal camera.
- Flying Mode: Attach the Flight Kit in seconds and launch Versa as a self-flying camera from your palm. The patent-pending MagLatch system keeps the wings secure, even at follow speeds up to 36 km/h.
- Easy & Safe to Fly: HoverAir’s signature foldable design with fully enclosed propeller guards make it easy to pack and safe to fly close to people. At 230g, license-free flying is possible in most jurisdictions. For those who want more control, hand gestures, the MiCo mini controller, or manual control with the Beacon & Joysticks and the Hover app are all available.
- Creative possibilities abound: Exercise your fullest creativity with Versa’s various settings and modes. Shoot in H-LOG for full color control or use one of the many color filters. In addition to classic flight modes like Zoom Out, Follow, Orbit, and Bird’s Eye, Versa also includes Dolly Zoom and Inception/Spin shots, all available at the press of a button.
- Flip-Screen Quick Start: Flip the screen to power on and start shooting instantly, then review footage right on the 1.64-inch haptic OLED touch display.
- Native Vertical Capture: With a rotating 3-axis gimbal, Versa switches to true vertical shooting instantly in both handheld and flying modes. Capture native 4K vertical videos with no cropping and no compromise — perfect for social content straight out of the camera.
- Multiple Audio Options: Capture audio with dual built-in microphones, a smartphone or a compatible external microphone for flexible recording in different scenes.
- 3D Worlds: Versa can orbit a scene and digitally reconstruct it using 3D Gaussian Splatting. People, objects and depth are preserved in an interactive 3D World that can be explored from any angle in the Hover app and shared with friends.
- AI Features: Use AI Framing for stronger composition, while AI Auto Editing handles the post-production work, making creating shareable clips even easier.
- Storage + Fast Transfer: Store more with 64 GB of built-in storage and microSD support up to 1 TB, then transfer footage by USB-C, Wi-Fi 6 or microSD.
- Swappable Battery: Swap batteries to keep shooting. The same Versa Smart Battery powers both Handheld and Flying modes, providing up to 3 hours of handheld use or up to 14 minutes of flight time per battery.
- Accessory-Ready System: More ways to use Versa. More ways to get the shot. Take one-handed control with MiCo, set up steady shots with the Multi-functional Tripod, capture dynamic vehicle-mounted angles with the Suction Cup Mount, manage bright outdoor light with the ND Filter Set and keep batteries ready with the Charging Hub.
